Ashtanga

Ashtanga is a set sequence of postures linked together with vinyasa, or flow of movement, in order to build heat in the body. The aim is for every breath taken to be a conscious one, creating a moving meditation. The set sequence is a consistent flow of dynamic movement designed to stretch and strengthen your body and to allow breath and energy to flow through your body easily.

Viyasa Flow

Vinyasa yoga is a discipline that utilizes postures and breathing techniques. This form of yoga offers a range of health benefits to those who practice it, as it encompasses all areas of mind, body and spirit.

Kids & Family Yoga

Taught in childrens language, children learn techniques for self-health, relaxation, and inner fulfillment, they can navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that’s noncompetitive. Fostering cooperation and compassion—instead of opposition—is a great gift to give our children.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. If you take a restorative class, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures in the course of an hour. It is a completely different experience than most contemporary yoga.

Yin Yong Yoga

Rooted in the traditional Hatha yoga and weaves together numerous other styles including Kundalini, Bhakti, Karma, Raja and more. But Tantra yoga is also about more than just the asanas and yogic traditions. It also layers on astrology, Ayurveda, chanting, gemology among other techniques and mystical teachings.

How to Create the Perfect Healing Experince.

Arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. Late arrivals may not be admitted. Be considerate of the sacredness of the space. Pick up after yourself and wipe down the studio mats and equipment that you use. Leave the space in better shape than you found it. Once the instructor begins class, please.

Do I have to be an artist?

Wearing comfortable lightweight clothes are best, along with supportive undergarments to keep everything in place.

Please enter the studio enter fresh and clean. Do not wear heavy perfume or cologne if possible. Taking a bath or shower both before and after practicing refreshes the body and mind

What do I need to bring to class?

It is ideal to practice on an empty stomach, or at least 1.5-2.5 hours after eating.

What should I wear?

Yoga is a science more accurately a (branch of philosophy) with roots in ancient India that has evolved over the centuries. While it means something different for every person that practices it, the word “yoga” means, yoke, unite, or join together and is rooted in the art of oneness, or being connected and yoking to God or source. Throughout history, yoga has been split into various “schools” focusing on different aspects of yoga. Some schools focus on the physical body, others on mediation or breathing.

What if I need to leave early?

Try to limit entering and exiting the studio during class. If you’re late or need to leave during class be mindful and courteous of your fellow students. If you must leave early, let the instructor know in advance and set up by the door.
